Downtown where the traffic is the mainstream of music, and the mall is the heart of it all, is why I stopped to record outside and inside. (Besides the fact that it was also very cold.) Outside the mall were shoppers, people in conversation, and of course, cars rushing to and fro. Inside the mall, however, proved to be more of a confinement of music playing, people shopping, talking, and pushing carts. This transition helped vary the difference of sound and gave me a chance to record two different perspectives of outside and inside of downtown Grand Avenue.
